Terms of service

These terms govern AV Primer, operated by Israel Polatchek in New York, United States. By using the service you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement.

Use media you have rights to use

Download or convert only media you own or have permission or another lawful right to use. Respect copyright, privacy, and the source service's terms. The service does not grant rights to content. Do not use it to bypass DRM, access controls, login requirements, or payment restrictions. We are independent of the listed media providers.

What the tools provide

Conversion runs in your browser and supports MP4, WebM, MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and GIF output where the input contains suitable tracks. GIFs are limited to 15 seconds. Public single-item downloads depend on the source, available direct media, and provider restrictions. Unencrypted, on-demand segmented audio is supported where available. Private content, playlists, protected media, live streams, and segmented video are unsupported. We do not guarantee a particular source, resolution, speed, uninterrupted availability, or device compatibility. 4K requires an available source and enough device memory. Increasing output bitrate or resolution cannot restore missing source quality.

Free allowances and Pro

Guests receive three submitted attempts per day up to 50 MB per file. Free accounts receive five attempts up to 100 MB. Downloads and conversions share the allowance; failed and cancelled submissions count. Allowances reset at midnight UTC. Shared networks may share a free allowance. Pro removes app-imposed daily and file-size caps and adds enhanced quality, trimming, and recent activity. Device memory, browser, hosting, and source restrictions still apply. Job approvals expire after 30 minutes. Save results before closing the tab.

Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your account secure and provide accurate information. Do not share or resell access, impersonate others, attack the service, automate abuse, evade quotas, or use the relay as a general proxy. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use. Browser-local processing cannot be made tamper-proof; authorization protects the service endpoints.

Subscriptions and refunds

Pro pricing is USD $3.99 per month or $43.92 per year, billed in advance. Annual billing saves $3.96 compared with 12 monthly payments. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Content and copyright reports

We do not host a library of downloadable content. Send copyright or abuse reports to support@avprimer.com with your contact details, the relevant source URL, a description of the issue, and the basis for your claim. We may investigate and restrict misuse.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for backups and lawful use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or provider failures, and our aggregate liability is limited to amounts you paid us in the preceding 12 months. This does not limit rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Changes, governing law, and contact

New York law governs these terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. We may update the service and these terms; material subscription changes will be communicated before they apply, and you may cancel before renewal. Contact support@avprimer.com with questions.
